Camponaraya is a town located in the region of El Bierzo, in the province of León, in the autonomous community of Castilla y León. In this area wine is grown under the Bierzo designation of origin, so you may have heard about some of the wines produced in the area.

Bierzo wines are known for their high quality and flavour, especially the red wines made from the Mencía grape variety. These wines are characterised by a fruity and floral aroma, with hints of spices and a smooth and balanced flavour. White and rosé wines are also produced in the area, made from the Godello and Doña Blanca varieties.
